Rose Garden Arena Bucks the Trend

Lately, we've heard and seen countless sports arenas being torn down so that new, shiny, expensive monoliths can take their place.  We actively frowned on this waste of resources (both financially and in materials) as the very definition of unsustainable.  (Remember our rant about Jerry World?)

So, I found it only appropriate to applaud those forward thinking leaders who get it right.  The Rose Garden Arena in Oregon deserves congratulations as it has accomplished the greenest retrofit of a sports stadium in the US with their LEED Gold certification. Bravo!
